Greenhouse Garden Project

This project was born out of parents initiative to rejuvenate our underutilised Green House and make it a sustainable project to benefit our students by establishing raised vegetable garden beds. This project relies on parent led fundraising and generous donations to progress, and to date the site has been cleared and garden beds built ready for planting.

This is just the beginning for our Greenhouse Garden Project with plans to:
  • Plant seeds and seedlings aligned with our school curriculum
  • Create a student “Green Team” to assist with caretaking of the garden
  • Build insect hotels to encourage sustainability
  • Develop a sensory garden to support student learning and wellbeing needs.

This volunteer project supports school activities and learning by:
  • Providing hands on sustainability experiences
  • Enhancing student involvement and participation
  • Supporting health and wellbeing by providing an alternative environment to relax and learn
  • Fostering community spirit and school volunteer involvement.

This project is managed by our parent volunteers who have generosity donated their time to raise funds, build and maintain the garden beds. Please reach out if you would like to donate your time as part of the Greenhouse Garden Project Sub-Committee (part of our PFG) or make a donation to this project. We also encourage our school community to support fundraising efforts such as Bunnings Sausage Sizzles and raffles to support this project throughout the year.
