Parish

We are blessed to have The Parish of Our Lady and St Dympna's, of the Catholic Diocese of Brisbane, located next to the school. Our schools Catholic identity and students faith journey benefits from this close proximity and involvement in regular school masses and liturgies joined by our parish Priest, Fr Biju Thomas.

FROM THE PARISH

Welcome to Our Lady and St Dympna’s Aspley Parish and School Community. Whether you are new or returning, we strive to support every family through dedicated education and care.

The parish has served the community for over 90 years, with St Dympna’s School continuing a tradition of faith-based learning since 1963. Inspired by Saint Mary MacKillop’s call to action, the Sisters of St Joseph began the school to meet local needs—a legacy carried on today.

While educational methods have evolved, our commitment to fostering the potential of each child remains unchanged, rooted in the values of Jesus Christ. The partnership between parish and school nurtures both children’s faith and academic growth, with key sacraments celebrated during primary years.

We look forward to building a caring, respectful, and compassionate community together, guided by Christ’s words:

"Let the little children come to me, do not stop them, for it is to such as these that the Kingdom of God belongs." MK. 10:14
