G.E.M. Club

A Calm Space to Pause, Breathe and Reset.

Every Friday, our G.E.M Club meets in he Japanese room, creating a low‑sensory, calming environment where students can relax,
recharge and feel supported.

With low lighting, quiet music and a gentle start to each session through breathing exercises, meditation or yoga, G.E.M Club offers students a safe space to rest and reset. Sessions also encourage reflection on the principles of The Resilience Project - Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness.

Students enjoy mindful activities such as finger knitting, loom band friendship bracelets, colouring, drawing, simple crafts, fidgets and making HUG Club cards for teachers.

It’s no surprise the club is very popular with our regular attendees—just listen to what they have to say:
“It is a great space to relax, and it makes me happy to go.”
“I come because it is fun and relaxing.”
“I love drawing and my friends are around me and it is calm.”

We’re so proud to offer a space that supports wellbeing, creativity and connection.
