​Application for Enrolment Online

Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child at St Dympna's. Please find the link below to your child's online application for enrolment.

You will need to click on the link, enter and review the required details, complete and submit the form.

If applying for enrolment for more than 1 student, when the form is completed option will be available to submit another enrolment for each additional student.

A $55 enrolment​ application fee per application applies, payable when submitting an application/s for enrolment.

To lodge an application for your child, please remember to send:

  • Fully completed Application for Enrolment form (see above)
  • Photocopy of Birth Certificate
  • Photocopy of Baptismal Certificate
  • Photocopy of Immunisation Certificate
  • Photocopy of most recent school report
  • $55.00 non-refundable enrolment application fee
After lodging an Enrolment Application, parents will be contacted regarding the next steps in the enrolment process.

 

Enrolment Statement

Children applying for Prep must be born within the specific dates as set down by the Government.

  • Eligible children must turn 5 by 30 June in the year they start Prep or at the end of July with support documentation.

  • Interviews for Prep conducted by Admin team in April/May

  • Offers for positions sent out by June. Confirmation of enrolment form sent with request for payment of $100 to confirm enrolment. This payment is non-refundable.

  • An orientation is conducted for the Prep pupils during term 4.

  • Other grade enrolments happen across the year as well as an intake at the beginning of each new school year. These positions are offered if positions become available through pupils leaving.

  • A similar process occurs with interviews and offers of places if available.

  • All new enrolments are supplied with booklists and uniform requirements.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES ENROLMENT

Should it be necessary to limit the intake of Prep or Year One pupils to St.Dympna’s, then preference will be given to

(a) children who have other family members in the school.

(b) children of the Parish whose parents are practising Catholics and who are Catholic.

(c) children of the Parish who are Catholic.

(d) children of other Parishes who are practising Catholics.

(e) children of non-Catholics of the Parish who are practising their faith.

Catholic children with special needs, who are resident in St.Dympna’s Parish, will be enrolled according to the community’s ability to finance a quality education for them and in accordance with Archdiocesan enrolment procedures for students with special needs. The school’s enrolment policy will endeavour to meet the Archdiocesan requirement of not more than ten percent non-Catholic children being enrolled in the school.

If application is accepted it is understood that parents comply with the spirit of the school Mission Statement and agree to pay such fees and mandatory levies as set by the local authority.
